Fished the south shore the other day....

First of the season....not much going on for me...

Good to get out there anyway and shake the cobwebs off...

Best wishes to all the Noreasters and their families for a great season.

Also Let's try to keep some positivity here...be complimentary to others when they post....and go out and have a blast fishing, people....

Life is way too short...to sweat the small stuff.....

And just want to take this opportunity to bring up some remembrances of Bobby Waldbaums/Bobby Maida.....who is no longer with us......

RIP Bobby

Feel free to share your memories of Bobby...and any others who you know who are no longer here...but hopefully fishing in heaven.....

Your Bobby Walbaums was my Freddy Restless charters and Teddy and Big Ed. I believe the important thing they all left behind was their legacy and their selflessness. Something to lead us to do, for it is in giving that one is given, in loving one is loved and in dying one is reborn to a new and greater life. Rest in peace Bobby, Freddy, Teddy and Ed.

Hey it's Mojoe!
Say hi to Maureen for all of us here too Joe...up

Bet ya didn't think I would remember him, but I did.....mostly because of guys like you, Joe...and what you put into this site and the fishing you do.....up

You have shared so many memories and good times of you and the other old farts...Toungue
They are all enjoyed.......

Here ya go Joe....Shades
thanks for sharing that...it was a little tough for me to watch him again...
But as some of you other members said....
If we don't have them around any more...
the least we can do is honor them, by sharing their memories....

Great thread, guys....Thanks for the kind words...but it is all of you fellow members...who make this community what it is....

Feel free to add anyone else in here, that is a departed fellow fishermen...and God Bless them all....hope they have tight lines and big fish in Heaven....Smile

Joe PM'ed me and said he was having trouble figuring how to post youtube videos....

I put this little tutorial together in case anyone else is having the same problem....

How To C&P/ Embed YOUTUBE Videos

1. Go to the noreast white box, where you reply to a post.

2. You will see a series of white box options above the large white box where you post your reply.

3. To the furthest on the right is a box that says "Youtube"

4. Click on that box.

5. This will open a window that says:
"Enter link to youtube video"

6. Go to Youtube, find the video you want to copy.

7. Right click with your mouse, on THAT video link (the white box at the very top with the URL)

8. When you right click on your mouse, (Or you can also do it on a laptop by holding down the right part of the screen), you can then go the Noreast box,
The option "Copy" will appear on your screen.
Copy that location by clicking on the Copy option

9.Then...go the Noreast Reply box....
put your mouse over that location, right click the mouse, and "PASTE" your link into that box.

10. When done, click "OK"

11. That youtube link will now be embedded into your post so others can see it without taking the extra step of going to youtube.

Hope that helps guys....
If you have difficulty, practice one step at a time.
After you do it a few times...it's easy!
