Haven't wrote a report in awhile. Not much to report other then blues and blues and blues for 3+ months now with some weaks in the mix early and some schoolies in the mix later in the last few months. Been out every morn before work for about 2 months straight now hitting anywhere from 1-2 blues a morn to 30. But lately been doing better with bass around 28-30" starting to make a good showing and even the rouge big girl. And of course in the last week been chasing albies like the rest of us albaholics. Anyways these pics from yesterday morn(best morn all year). Started out picking blues all morn till first light then lock and load albies with me and dan wolfdog doubling up instant and hooking up every cast in them. Landed couple each and dropped a few each. Then he left and i stuck a nice early fall chubber to end of the slam nicely..

This morn same slower pick of blues and albies only made super quick showing with no hook ups and ended the day with a big chomper that had me fooled for alil and thought i had another good bass. Oh well.... theres always tomorrow

I know exactly where you're fishing.......

The Black Hole.

Excuse the bad attempt at humor.

Good that things are heating up. I have a couple of questions. What are you catching your fish on (especially the albies)? And how do you fish without getting your legs wet?

I hear you loud and clear on the blue situation this year. At least for me, I had to remind myself to be careful what I wish for. In the past couple of years, I would ask "WTF happened to the ocean blues and why don't they come in anymore?"

Well, I got what I asked for and got it good; To the point where it is just outright frustrating. This abundance of blues will just not give the bass a chance to hit anything before they do.

The past two weeks have been horrendous for me on the bluefish front. They will work me out to the point where I have to call it quits, with no energy to continue trying to fish out the bass. And believe me when I tell you that I am exceptionally relentless.

In any case, nice bass and albie. Good job.
