Out this morning 430am with Captain Dave,Tim,Pablo and Matt. We fished 18 miles SE of the Inlet. We fared well having a heck of a fun day together sharing fish stories and even catching a few Sharks. Ended up with 2 Blue Sharks and 2 Mako's bringing home one Mako for dinner. Just a GREAT Day, Thank You Captain Dave........... Looking Forward to Our Next Offshore Adventure.... :)

Thanks for all the Positive comments. Yes you are all correct it was my first Mako and yes it was about 75-80 pounds 59 inches long. Maybe one one day I will be big and strong like all of you. This was a completely legal fish and whether you like it or not I Am PERMITTED to keep the fish. You are all so successful I am sure you will have no Problems catching the Monsters out there. For me I may never get to Shark fish again but that's OK because I totally enjoyed this trip with or without your approval.ShadesShades

Good for you john.

People get attacked for posting pictures of big, legal bass, small legal sharks and then wonder why this site is becoming a footnote in history

Congrats on your first mako. Keeping one for the table is ok. Let the big 200+lb fish go and breed. The guy keeps one mako his life and he is the reason there is no fish out there?? I dont see anyone calling the dec saying they should only keep one fish a YEAR !!! If we did there would be more fish out there. Even better close it all together?????

This fish is within the legal limits.

Keep your remarks on the positive side, no need for the negative stuff.
