I have not caught Porgies from the surf yet. What set up are you using if you don't mind me asking?

If you ask me why do I go fishing the answer will always be I'm a Antoine, Antoines go fishing!

What size hooks? On the boats I find that the small hooks they use don't hook the jumbos well.

NICE porgy catch! Not trying to burn your spot, but I heard that beach was private. Is there parking? And do you need some kind of permit? I usually fish wildwood state park beach further up but the structure is different or there's less, and lately big porgies just don't come in as much. Usually just keeper size. Would appreciate the info. thanks.
