Hi Folks,

I had the great pleasure of fluking with friends and Capt Phil on his beautiful Fishy Business. It was a great trip, beautiful weather, calm seas and catching fluke all day! Lots of fun and bags of fluke fillets for everyone. Thanks to the very nice size of the fluke many delicious fresh dinners will be eating in our homes tomorrow evening. Not sure about the correct total of keepers but I think it was over 30+. Birthday boy had a limit.

Thank you Capt Phil for my wonderful birthday present, a Fishy Business hat and sweat shirt. Thank you for thinking to get me the sweat shirt with the zipper.

Yes folks today was my birthday, a very special one, my 75th!!! I spent yesterday with all of my family having a wonderful time in the back yard, eating delicious food and playing all sorts of sports games. I always try to go fishing on my birthday.

Thank you to all who made this important occasion very SPECIAL!

Thank you Capt Phil and cudos to mate Derrick for a great job being our mate for the trip.

Happy Birthday Capt.Neil. Wishing you many more Birthday fishing trips. That was me that waved to you yesterday. I put two of the rods you built for me through their paces.

Thank you!

It has been a very busy 3 or 4 days but every second was a blessing. Our family had a great party of Sunday, lots of very good food and many sports games in the back yard. Monday, up at 0430 to head East for a great day on the water with friends. And, I caught beautiful tasty fluke. Exhausted yesterday but had to get back to rod building as anglers want their new fluke rods.

Today will be a bit easier. Hopefully I will have time to return calls to my family members and others. Maybe sneak in an evening fluke or porgy trip. Then off to CT on Saturday to attend our youngest grandchild's 3 year old birthday party. Finally on Sunday our CQ Punch Card Fluke Charter.

Monday I finally get to rest, I hope. Golly being 75 leads to a very busy life, ha, ha!

Stay well,

Capt Neil
