I planned on getting out as few times over the weekend to see if a late season run would materialize. I was only able to get out for sunset on Saturday and then again Saturday night from 11-1am. Had good conditions both trips without a touch.

I got out last night around 8pm . Breakers at the beach- slight N wind, some weeds at my first 2 stops but cleared up as I moved west a bit. I stuck mostly with a bottle plug and tried a big metal lipped swimmer. I was able to wade out and reach the drop off , which has produced well for me in the past late seasons. Wish I could report action but not a tap on any of my last 3 trips. I'll keep getting out hoping for the late season run I've enjoyed the last few years but with every skunking it looks less likely.

Back at it tonight.
