Report location New York > Moriches > MORICHES INLET - SOLID BASS BITE
Fishing method Boat
« Previous Report Next Report »

With work slow as soon as I woke up this morning I call my buddy Tommy and said lets go. The ebb was later in the day so we just hung around BSing and finally head out early afternoon. Its simple, insane fishing on every pass, double and triple hook ups one after another. We ended the trip with 15 keepers in 90 minutes, all but two fish were RELEASED. The bite is on in and just outside the inlet; be sure to go see Capt. Tommy for some live Spot and catch'em up...

Keep an eye out for some nice fish swimming out of Hearts Cove!

Awesome!, I just have to ask why you make a point of saying all but two were released, and in the pic you clearly kept more then two, I'm not trying to be mean or one of those know bullies on here, just wondering? Peace love light and happiness

That's because all the fish you see came out of the livewell and were released after a quick picture. Just to clarify for you.

Thank you hopefully one of those kids will catch one of those fish in two years when it's a cow and a fish of their lifetime!

Story sounds too good to be true. Why would you wait till you reach the dock to release the fish.Have you ever heard of stressing the fish, thats what your doing with them in a live well to long.Be a good example for the kids.Happy fishing

REPORT

Sounds like a great day too me. This is a good solid report, take it for what it is and stop patrolling . Why so much hating and not appreciating. I have chartered this captain many times through the years and the live well is huge , it's a CONTENDER. I'll end like everyone else did -"Good fishing".
