Bottom of out , top of in this morning. Dunked clams in back of inlet, and right outside. Drifted clams in inlet, tossed plugs and buck tails outside intombreakers, tossed plugs into shallows. Not a nibble. Very odd.

Seems to be a lack of bass and a lot of bait in several areas...not good. Not good at all. Lets hope its coming soon.

They are overfished in my opinion. Time to bring back the 36" limit. They should have never dropped it to 28", should've went down to 32".

Tons of bass to 40# being jigged at Montauk right now.

The North Fork had the same thing almost all summer.

Fish are not being caught right now on the south shore and you want the limits changed? Confused Roll
