Report location New York > Shinnecock > OCEAN!!!!!!!!
Fishing method Boat

Headed out after work and played in the bay for a bit and had shorts all over. West of bridge and flats north of inlet produced but the biggest was just over 18". With little wind I didn't think I'd have much of a drift in the ocean but it was too nice out there not to try.

Headed east of inlet to about 65'. Had just enough of a drift and was into fish right away. Ended up with 1 at exactly 19", 1 at 22", and 1 @ 26" that went just over 7lb!!! Hopefully it's a sign of good things to come!!!

Tried to upload pictures but it wouldn't work so I gave up....

Great news!

Been as if they stopped making fluke over 19 inches in the bay! Hope to see you out there!

OK, here's the pictures
The 26" makes the 19" look like a short....

The 26" was too big to fit the cooler!
