Set up shop last night at one of my favorite spots that usually doesn't produce till about mid May. Last week it's been lots of blues with the weakies moving in around dusk and the stripers coming around right before the tide change.

Fished the last two hours of the outgoing with a shad, used the five incher which is a little heavy for the current, a few more snags but does stay down in the zone where the big girls play a little better.

Started off with a few blues, then right before tide changed nailed a 30 inch weak and a 28 inch striper which was released. Kept the weak for a little Mother's Day lunch. Also enclosing a pic from a few days ago when the action was a little more steady on weaks and stripers before the blues moved in.

Wow great job. More and more weak fish are popping up in big numbers too nonetheless. Maybe I'll be fortunate enough to land my first ever weakfish. Nice report. Keep it up. FISH HARD, TIGHT LINES.

No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man
