After reading those great reports from torn jig decided to travel the 90 miles to give it a shot. Usually fish IBSP in N.J. however due to Sandy its in worse shape than Robert Moses!! Had a good day catching 10 schoolies up to 24in on 007, storm shads,hopkins,sandeel teaser, vision surf eel.Nice meeting you Pete! All fish caught near the jetty pocket.

Sandy messed Gateways up

I took a ride 11/30 at night to check my spots from the public Beach to Ft. Tilden... CLOSED, CLOSED, CLOSED, CLOSED, & CLOSED.Its still like a war-zone down there. I felt guilty driving around with my rod. It looks like there won't be new permits for a while.
