Had the urge to get out and get some bass as the boat is pulled out for the rest of the season. Chartered the Elizabeth 2 for a half day of some stripers. Decided to venture out even with the weather forecast as the wind and tide were working together for the morning trip. Got to the herring at around 7:30 and all the bait that we needed by 8:00. We got to the rips and from then on it was lock and load action. We limited out in a little more than an hour and threw a bunch more back. Fish from 28-34 inches. Capt. Paul and Mate Hughie were great and Hughie made us laugh all morning. They worked hard to keep us on the fish despite the winds and rough seas. Great Day
