I have a friend that lives a block North of Montauk Highway in Copiague. During hurricane sandy the water made it up to her front stoop. When the water receded, this was left on her lawn. Not too familiar with what this is. Any ideas?

The canal water rushed in and rushed back out takin a lot with it. Im sure things have changed drastically in the ponds and lakes close to the salt. I know Mill was hit hard. Carp and bass were floppin around on Merrick road.
