started at sunrise a bit east of moriches inlet. BIG SS Wwind blowing hard prob 25-30, top of outgoing. tough throwing into that. In the first 15 minutes nailed a gorilla chomper in the surf. prob 12-14#. Saw one smaller blue taken by a guy about 50 yards from me. Nothing after that. Moved to jetty, wind against tide beat me again. worked the whole jetty for nada. moved over to the east cut, worked the whole thing for nada. Drove to PIkes. By 11am the surf was pretty much unfishable. NO pic of fish, quick C and R. Will uplaod pics of surf later. Monstrous!

Fished in the vicinity today, surf was angry, wind and tide didn't help, exactly.
Bucktails and tins for nothing, 1 other fisherman out there, he bagged a 32" bass, his only hit all day
