Went to Montauk this morning with my dad, grandfather, uncle, and McFlatty in search of some bass/fluke/sea bass. We fished the rips on the last hour of the incoming and it was lock and load for the next hour. In that time, we managed 4 keeper bass, the biggest being 30# , 3 shorts, and too many blues. At slack tide, we went for some fluke/sea bass. Nothing but skates and sand sharks for the next hour. We decided to move, and it proved to be a good idea. We got 4 keeper fluke, the biggest being 7# 26 inches, 3 keeper sea bass, and a bunch of short sea bass. Great mixed bag.

Hey guys. Watch your wake. You kept blasting us with your huge wake as you raced through the rips yesterday off Montauk. Your wake is huge and you can't do that. When we motioned to you to stop doing that, your captain just shrugged as he texted on his phone. Not cool at all. Please be more considerate of your fellow boaters.
