Report location New York > Shinnecock > HAMPTON LADY GIANT FLUKE
Fishing method Boat
« Previous Report Next Report »

Just an amazing day yesterday on the Hampton Lady. Capt Jim decided to take a long run east, gamble on a hunch and fish in deep water on the rocks. This paid of big, an easy baot limit of giants, all fish were between 4lbs and 11.5lbs, I don't think there was a throw back all day. I got my first double digit fluke at 10.5lbs. Special thanks to Capt Neil who built the rod that helped land this doormat, the CTS ES704. Thanks Capt Jim for going wit your gut and running east, and the whole Hampton Lady crew, first first rate.......

Teasers

Hi Tommy, Very good observation, Its one of your beauties I got 2 years ago, 6oz smiling bill and the trailer hook, great rig. I use it all the time. No, it actually wacked the top hook, which was a Harvey teaser. Great equipment from two great guys.............K
