There are still fish out by the shore guys. Don't hang your boots yet. I think we may have quality fish for another few weeks, as there is still bait around and lots of birds still in vertical diving excercises.

Big Blues are still roaming the sough shore in the early morning (last of the Incoming seems to be the best time), and we still have porgy and schoolie bass on the North Shore.

I was lucky to get a mixed bag on Christmas eve, as I had promised our church's Soup kitchen. Extra pressure this year since my wife was the menu coordinator & cook. But I cheated a bit though, as I bought some fofsole from the local fishmarket, just in case.

The Holidays is one of the best times of the year, a time for families to come together, a time of giving. But the Holidays may be very dificult times for the ones who are struggling. There is no better feeling and satisfaction than to put a smile on the face of someone who may not had anything to eat at Christmas eve, or a child who was not going to receive any gifts at Christmas.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and I wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

•The recreational season for porgy was extended to December 25.

And since he stated he brought them for the Christmas Eve Church Soup kithen dinner, he must have caught them prior to the Dec 25 deadline.

Good Job on the Blue too! up

Giving is always better than receiving. So much more rewarding just as releasing a fish and giving it a chance to fight another day. The MAN above will provide your gift. Be well
