Hit it early this morning before work. Got to the spot around 5 am, 2 hours before I had to be in. Luckily I have a nice fishing spot which is only 5 minutes from my apartment and my job, so I fished untill the last minute. Been staying away from the south shore lately because this spot has been producing for me lately and keeping me happy. Caught one of my biggest of the year here last week coming in at a measley 35", 15 lbs., but thats just what kind of year its been. I caught that fish armed with my 10'6" combo, this time I was armed with my little 7 footer with a penn 550ssg, and ended up catching my biggest bass of the year on it. The fight felt like an eternity, but I managed to land a very fat 35" bass, coming in at 17 lbs. Could tell it was a resident bass and really would have liked to known what was in that fat belly, also really wish I could have gotten a picture of myself holding her up, but I think a picture of her swimming away is better anyway.....

15 lber from last week

fun fight

bluedog!

what a fight on the 7 footer
