Met Chris and Robert in Montauk 7:00 AM yesterday for a day of fluking. Chris immediately headed to the spot he fished the day before. Robert mentioned that the fluke were hitting red and white.

Robert and I rigged up with red/orange teasers and white squids behind the ball. Chris used my white/red head teaser and a squid. Soon as we hit bottom it was FISH ON. After 3 hours of non stop fluking the fish decided red and white wasn't the color Du Jour. Robert switched over to my Green/Chartreuse teaser and green squid and the fish began feeding big time. Chris and I also switched over too.

All I can say it was a great day of fluking. Cleaned 9 fluke back at the dock between 7 - 9 lbs. Chris owns a beautiful boat and Robert maintains it in pristine condition. It's a real treat to get invited to join them.

Capt Tom Mikoleski stopped by to say hello as we were docking. The good Captain took the picture below. Chris gave Capt. Tom our numbers so I would suggest calling Capt. Tom at Grand Slam Fishing to get in on the savage bite.

Harvey,

I was out there too. It was a phenomenal bite. Your chartreuse and white teaser was a killer.

Next time you are out give me a shout.

Al

Those are some SWEET teasers bro! Why doesn't my local shop sell them? Send me a couple and I'll get you in the door for sure.

Al - The trip was a last minute thing. Chris gave me a call on Thursday night. Let's arrange to fish in a week or two.

Grizzz - Tying teasers is a hobby of mine.

Jason - We hammered the fluke yesterday. Not going to say how many we caught and released, but I will say we weren't netting doubleheader 4 lbers. The three of us were constantly hooked up. Good luck tomorrow.

TonyZ - Thanks for the compliment.
