met up with Carl and Tim at around 6:30pm launched around 7-7:30pm incoming tide. Carl caught a small bass and he went on to catch many bass and a biiiig blue about 35" which was a blast to watch especially when the blue launched out of the water like a tarpon right at Carl lol basically bounced off his kayak but he got him niiiice blue. So Carl went on to catch more fish while Tim and I just trolled and watched carl lol than i got a hit bam fish on about a 12" porgie lol finally dark maybe slack tide beginning of outgoing trolling north out of the rocks and my rod gets slammed i say finally!!! than i grab the rod and hoooly crap drag is ripping so i put the clicker on lol and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz some powerful runs. I feel a pop and than nothing i was like noooooooooooo but i reel and all of a sudden shes still there zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz finally get her to the kayak and i was like ooooooooooo boy big fish i grabbed it with 2 hands in the mouth lol turned out to be 44" and around 27 lbs. why do i always get the skinny fish lol we all thought for sure it was over 30 lbs. well i had my doubts because of past fish. i went on to get another at 33" very nice fight too. Tim had a few porgies and as we were heading in he gets nailed and lands i believe was a 30-32" bass. Funny thing was early on while Tim and I were watching Carls how to clinic lol i jokingly said i am going for quality not quantity lol well we all went home with bass Had a lot of fun with you guys out there!! All fish caught on kayakcarls tubes!! here are some pics from the night.

Awesome report guys. Den, I know you're proud of your "light" bass,up Toungue but a 35" bluefish is a great "consolation" catch as well. Looks like a great time was had by all.....

proving once again that T&W crushes it as well at night. Shades

Great report and pics. up

Nice work.

Nice job out there. Last time out (Montauk 3 days ago) I had a couple nice 33-34" bass, but I also had a monster bluefish. It was the fight of the night for me. It was all of 36" long and hooked behind the head. It fought like a gigantic fluke. Not easy to get my lure back from, either.
