Fished the Great Gun Anglers shark tourney today. We ran SE to a set of fingers in 150ft of water. 68 degree temp clean clear water lots of life after 10 mins we had a small brown boat side the lil bugger took 2 baits lol. Had a school of dolphins playing around the boat for about a half hour then we played catch n release with about a dozen blue dogs damm things fought like they were on steroids. Around 2.00 we decided to head into the 700 line where we proceeded to catch blues while I was bringing in one of the blues a small thresher attacked it about 20ft from the boat didnt hook up with him. We dressed up a live blue and sent him out after about a half hour the balloon starts moving Bruno let what ever it was eat it for a bit then set the hook the rod doubled over this fish was big after a 10 min fight the line popped cut clean thru we guessed it was a big thresher that cut the line with his tail. All in all a beautiful day out there with good friends but nothing to weigh in
