Brought my cousin and a friend from Pennsylvania down to do some surf fishing. First time my cousin was able to hit the surf since november and first time my buddy ever surf fished, I think I got him hooked. Action was slow but it was steady and we had a great time. I ended up high hook ( of course ) with 3 blues and a last minute 26" Striper at dusk. All fish were caught on 2 and 3 oz diamond jigs. I put a white teaser on after my first blue and was rewarded with a doubleheader and a bass shortly after. We fished from 5 to 9 pm, the heart of outgoing with a stiff east wind at 10-15 knots. Caught 7 blues total and 1 schoolie bass. All blues were 3 - 5 pounds and were sent home with my cousin from Pennsylvania to be enjoyed by my family. Saw plently of blues come up but only 1 Striper, the one I caught, which swam home with a sore jaw. Will be back at it today.
