Fished yesterday from 330 to 9 pm, pretty much the whole outgoing and start of incoming. Didn't get a nibble for the first few hours, was taking the long walk back to my truck to switch locations and walked right into a blitz. Cocktail blues all over taking anything you threw. Managed 7 of em before night fall. Stuck around and chunked for an our after the blues and people left, didn't get a bite. Did not see any stripers or even big blues taken.

Went back today, fished middle of outgoing, same spot, didn't see a hint of activity anywhere near.

This was my first two days fishing this area, lately I've been over at the beach side. This is my second year surf fishing and first on long island, my first was spent on fishers island, can't wait to make some fall trips there and finally surf fish montauk as well. I've had a pretty decent spring from the surf so far and hope more are doing the same.
