Got to the beach around 6pm. Threw everything I had for 2 hours and not a bump. Finally I gave up and started chunking some bunker. Don't know if it was the bunker or that the tide started coming in but boy was I happy to get some action. Landed a small blue, then 15 minutes later landed 31" Striper (first keeper size of year). Switched to a bomber and got bombed by a 12 pound blue, do I love fighting those things. Called it around 9pm, hoping to get atleast 5 hours of sleep tonight before work tomorrow. All fish safely released. Saw 2 groups of fishermen on my walk out, wonder how the night bite was.
