Finally made it out again. Fished last night's sunset and today's sunrise. Didn't have high expectations for last night, it was the top of the incoming and water was very high, and the breeze was southeasterly. Even so, I got a blue, just a hair under 4 lbs...really thin, like early season blues, but fought really hard. Felt great to finally catch a fish again. Nothing else, not even a tap, but I was thrilled to see at least 6 horseshoe crabs. Sad to think that 6 is a lot to see these days. This morning should have been better, moving incoming, but it wasn't. I got a hit from a fish that didn't hold on too long, and another fisherman caught a schoolie bass. Did not see any bunker at all.
