Waded around from 6:30pm until about 11pm. Got some hits on the clam but no takers, aside from an inquisitive horseshoe crab. Around 9pm or so, bunker came through, so I started throwing my treble hook. Managed to snag my own hand while tying it on in the dark but didn't catch any bunker. Threw lures around too when the bait fish came through, only to lose an A47 on a hunk of garbage. That's it - no more buying lures until I actually catch something with them.

Some other dudes snagged a keeper bass in the area and another dude caught a big blue earlier, so at least there's life where I'm fishing. I know the area's good but I'm wondering what I did to anger the gods of the sea so badly.

My wonderful night was topped off by getting home around 1am to find my wife finished the pizza. One of those nights when I wonder why I do this.
