The recuperation period from knee surgery sucks, Den. Glad ya got a chance to get back out there and into em. Great report.

Were you using whole worms or were pieces enough of a scent?

I like to use about a 3" piece 1" threaded on the hook and the other 2" hanging off. If you use a whole worm the fish tend to just grab the worm and not the hook. This way it also doubles or triples your bait for the day Wink as for the knee probably won't be 100% till the fall or around there but is feels good enough to peddle my kayak!! although sunday we fished smithtown bay and pulling that kayak up a soft and sandy beach hurt pretty bad lol
