Finally made it out here to do my first fishing of the season. As I was afraid, nada. Water was clear and totally devoid of bait, except for a tiny half-dead sandworm. No sign of bunker, and the ospreys were all flying empty handed. Needless to say, not a touch on storm shads or a krocodile. I fished about an hour and a half from 6-7:30 on the outgoing...north wind was nasty but conditions were fishable. In fact conditions were great, had there been any fish. Definitely a late season...but by the next time I come out, I'm sure plenty will be in.

I agree

Was out and about yesterday scoping the creeks and I have to agree they are still bare. I am hoping with the warmer temps expecting for this week the "Cycle" will start in earnest. If that's the case the tides should be good for some night time creek fishing for bass next weekend with the flyrod.
