Opening day of the season so I figure I'd post my first report of what should be many.

Fished the incoming today at Mill Basin from about 2 until 5. Colder than I thought it would be today and the wind blowing in my face from the east at around 20 knots made it rough going. Tried 1 1/2 oz green & white buck with a porkrind and a teaser before moving west from Raptor Point to soak some clams from the beach. Nothing biting, not even a nibble but it was great to get out on the water for opening day and try out the new rod and reel. Saw about 8 other fishermen and they were empty handed as well. The Mrs. and I capped the day with a round of Rollin' Roaster so I ain't complaining.

Until next time...
