Hey Mikey

You can make a couple more reports from the river before you start back down here again,
These guys won't leave the Island to head north to a river they know nothing about ToungueToungueToungueToungue

Isn't it illegal to even TARGET stripers out of season . . . where are you fishing from?

What do you mean illegal to TARGET? It's always legal to play catch and release with any fish...
So If I'm targeting something that IS legal to catch and actually hook something that is NOT legal to catch (you never know for sure what's gonna bite your bait), I'll have to get a ticket?

By the book, you cannot target a species, even for catch and release, when that species is out of season. However, there is a specific regulation for stripers that allows for catch and release fishing.

It would definately be nice if people would make sure they are right before sounding off (that is not directed at you, Artem Wink).

What I meant to say is that there's no problem either moral or legal to play catch and release with any fish any time of year. No one is going to punch you in your face and no one is going to give you a ticket as long as your fish goes back to water. Smile
