Hit the ebb last night in the inlet, had left over eels from the past week so I decided to take advantage of the 'near' perfect conditions we had last night on the water, started out with a light N/W winds at about 5kts. as NOAA predicted, water temps fluctuated from 48 back in the bay to 50.8 at the peak of the current in the inlet and a clear sky with unseasonble warmth in the low 50's when we left the dock to about 42 when we returned and the blue moon hanging up above, made some attempts at the bridge in the beginning of the night and didnt have any takers so we moved out to the rips and made some drifts practicaly dragging the eels in front of their noses with no takers there either, notice a few boats outside drifting around the 6 buoy and made some drifts with them there but didnt see anything around to keep me interested, back inside to the bridge to work some of the supports were Carl picked up a nice 14 pounder that was on the thin side on a assasin, back to the rips for the finale with still no takers were I called it night due to lack of participation from the fish, going to leave the boat in the water for a little bit longer if this weather continue's to stay mild.

Carl''s 14 pointer.......
