left Freeport at 6 am aboard BINGO for some blackfishing. The inlet had waves standing up and breaking all over, but thankfully we had a solid captain who made the inlet his b***h, both leaving in the dark, and coming back in. (i'll put the video of us coming back in in the comments section)

once we got out to the ocean the swells we're far enough apart that it was a comfortable day. We all limited out and two guys caught tog up to 6.5 lbs. see photos.

Another success story aboard BINGO. I can't say enough good things about that boat and Capt. Roger.

Capt Roger shows how its done!

Rath with 6.5 lbr

a productive days work aboard BINGO

Mike should quit his day job during tog season and just fish. He could probobly support himself on the pool money. Until they figure out the fishing equvalent of the "intentional walk" I wouldnt bet against him. You guys let me know how you think how I should settle my bet with joe. Maybe I will take his money and make him a t-shirt that says "I bet against mike rath and I lost" and on the back it could say "Bah, Never Again"

Looks like a terrific day, with a great capt up. I did a blackfish trip with Roger last Dec, same thing, JI snotty as all hell coming in but Roger handled it like the professional he is up

Nice to see the blackfish chewing on the west end up

Looks like the Maine Coaster broached just after the cap said hold on! The video was choppy on my pc. The bow was pointed out past the tip of the jetty on the east side after a following wave. Wow...what a ride. I saw the breakers yesterday...absolutely huge. Hawaii 5-0 times 2.

Capt. Ron:

You are right. I slowed her down and let that wave take my bow to the east. I knew that if that one got in front of me I was home free. Just pulled back on the throttles and let it slide under the boat. After that it was smooth sailing all the way up. Rode the trough right in. They were spread out pretty far.
