Fished the Gilgo rockpile starting with the high slack into the ebb with my trusty pencil popper and later with a large tin to no effect. There was some bird action (gulls, gannets, cormorants) with a ten minute mini-blitz (probably small Blues) in the bright Tuesday sunshine.

FWIW, obviously there's something (or things) holding in the hole just south of the rockpile perhaps 50 or 60 yards off the beach but I couldn't get it's attention. Perhaps someone can give this a shot.

Demo was dead during the ebb with the wind from the north.
