Headed out early am to fish the inlet, just caught the beginning of the outgoing water but had a serious NW wind blowing at a good 15kts, couldnt do any drifts at the spot that I wanted to fish so I ended anchoring, started off with shadtails but switch right away to bucktails after having a fewe destroyed by some big blues, ended up catching three tackle busting blues that went between 12-14 pounds and lost twice as many, hung around until sunrise and then headed out to the mouth of the inlet by the thumb and waited for the albies to show, after about a hour I didnt see any action so I called it a day.

The Albie rush is here

Yes I've been searching for the enemy albies as well. Looks like they've been getting nailed out east, as well as the south. Hopefully next trip for you Tone up

stinks for eatin

Albies are for catching and bait if you shark - never for eating. # for # they put a blue to shame - they are speedsters and will spool you if you don't get them turned or give chase!
