Some free time to burn on the south shore today...

Late start, just past top of morning high tide.. Stopped by Gilgo first.. nothing going on there.. drove out to FI and fished RM3 for a little while - water conditions were sweet, but no fish..

Lunch break.. headed back west and fished Tobay. Pounded water for about an hour until the bottom of the tide and called it a day.. needed to get back to work.

Strong east wind today made fishing artificials very difficult this morning, then near impossible at Tobay by the afternoon.

Stopped by Causeway B&T and was told someone weighed in a 30lbs-er from Demo this morning. Wish I had enough time to join the party out there this week.

God put the fish in the sea for everyone to be able to get a little action in.

So all you old farts, when you show me a deed that states u own the beach let me know, in the mean time, I will be at Dem with about 40 kids tomorrow just to all raise a raucous . . . . . lololo.

It's a big beach guys. Have fun, God gives everyone their due. I still have not caught a cow off the beach yet, and I could care less who's fishing next to me. Just be respectful.

Tight lines boys.

Here's to learnig, loving, and fishing for the beast.

Absolutely - because by saying there was a fish at demo he gave away a huge secret - be real.

Who cares if he says he caught a 40 pounder at Tobay casting right in front of the building. It's an ocean - what's there one day doesn't mean it will be there the next day. I am all for "spot burning"

This is directed at a FEW individuals who, despite their claim to hate internet reports, just can't seem to stay away. GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!! This section is not going ANYWHERE! It is here to stay, as is You have two choices. 1.). Keep your incessant whining about "spot burning" ( and just about everything else, it seems Roll) confined to the surf forum, and play by the rules of this site when coming into this section or 2.). Find another site that allows you to do/say whatever you please.

Those of you with issues regarding spot-specific reports have an excellent opportunity on Noreast to EDUCATE those anglers who may be unaware of any downsides to postng specific spots. Yet, again a FEW of you chose to be nothing but sarcastic, rude, and unwelcoming to newcomers to the sport. It's your own loss!

Somewhere in Chicago,a community is missing its organizer
