Went out with brother SaltyU today with hopes of finding false albacore. Sometimes a plan comes together. Ended up with 4, the biggest right around 5 lbs.

Hey never caught a false albie, but was wondering if you can eat them, being that you have it now. And congrats on the fish.

Not considered edible by most...bad catfood at best.

Those are great on light tackle. The deadly dicks and small bucktails always worked for me.They make great shark bait.

That's great that they are starting to show!

That bait is too big to be bay anchovies- anchovies will be tannish in color and very small- those look like baby butterfish maybe?

That's a false albie. Cat food at best, but really good bait.
