Lauched the boat out of Mt Sinai about 7AM this morning. The trailer lot was pretty full. Lots of boats out trying there luck on Memorial Day.

Fished to the east with the rest of the fleet. Buoy 9 and a little east of there. Fluke were picky but finished with three quality fluke. My son Jack got a 24 inch fluke for the first keeper. I landed a fish of 22 inches. Lots of short fish and some sea robins to keep you busy. I got a second keeper a little over 26 inches. The last keeper of the day. The tide died out about 11:30 and the fishing slowed down too!

Headed for the Mt Sinai ramp at just about noon. Passed a seal on the way in, strange they are still around.

The fluke were loaded with sand eels. Every fish was spitting out wads of sandeels at the side of the boat.

Did my good dead for today. Towed a boat with engine trouble back to the boat ramp.

All in all a good day on the water.

Fish for dinner tonight
