got out to the beach today around 12 30 pm(wanted to get out earlier but there were alarm clock problems so i fished the later tide). lots of trucks in the lot but not many guys fishing. when i arrived water was clean but rough, really rough with a hard east to west sweep but still fishable. found a nice little point with a whole load of white water (the entire beach was whitewater) and went to work. bucktails, tins and bottle plugs all hit the water. ended up with 2 fish (27" and 34"), both were measured and released.. had too many hits to count but the wind made it hard to feel them or put too much slack in the line to set the hook... left around 3 30 to try my luck further west... by the time i hit the beach again conditions were much worse... the wind was gusting harder and certain jetties were completly underwater. after an hour of getting sandblasted and washed off jetties i decided to leave (smart move)... all in all it was a pretty good day
