Left the dock early a.m to fish outgoing water at the inlet, weather service called for NE winds 10-15.....I dont think so , was more like 20-25,gale force winds went to the bridge ,strong winds made anchoring difficult, finally got in position and started off using shad tails, had a nice fish by the second cast and he shook the hook before i was able to get the net, had a few more hits and was not able to connect, switch over to a bucktail and had some classic fall action, catching a total 8 bass all between 12-15 pounds, losing about that many more, sometimes i really hate using braided line!!!!!!, fish seemed to be on nice size p-nuts that were leaving the bay, strange site was 2 fellows in a 16 aluminum skiff heading back to the boat ramp with the strong outgoing and NE winds,i give you guys alot of credit!!!hope you were wearing your PFD's, cant wait to go back tonight.
