Hi all , man it's been a long time since I posted a report so here goes. Met up with John (Searchin)last night at 9:00 ish. The conditions were perfect with a nice sweep, white water and breakers. Wind was ?????LOL. Saw a few fish here and there being picked up by bait guys and a few by Lure tossers as we looked for our own spot. John and I found the fish pretty good and they were not shy. First fish for John was a small cocKtail blue (OH NO!!!) WAS ALL I WAS THINKING.Needless to say it was the only 1 of the night as we caught 30 bass between us from 22 inches up too 30 inches. All the fish except the blue were taken on Needles. I have to admit I wasn't a big fan of needles but I am now. All fish released.

Best part of the night was not getting skunked and good company as usual. Catchem up there still here. Searchin reeling in another striper.>>>>>>Martin

You never figured it out and you even passed within 10 feet of me !!!
I guess I had you guys dailed in last night. Next time I'll say hello Smile.

I caught 8 fish last night. 5 bass and 3 blues. 4 fish were caught on teasers include a 35 inch bass, 3 fish fell for a bucktail, and one fish took a Super stike bottle plug. All fish released last night.

I'm going camping tomorrow so I'll be out on Monday night again Wink. Best of luck. IPF

Hi Joe Needles were the ticket. Unlike the night you were there it was a lot rougher. Same place was the ticket. Structure has changed since last week but the fish don't seem to mindToungue

Strangers in the night...

Joe - the needle craze has begun for me. Out catching everything else for me right now, at least at that spot. Never had too much success with them. Maybe I am just starting to fish them better. Has nothing to do with all the reading over the winter or anything like thatsurprise Don't think I would have thrown it if I wasn't watching you kill them the other day. Another lesson learned and stored in the memory banks.

Mark- what's up with that dude, say hello! Glad to see you culled a bigger fish out to play. No love for me on the buck? Think I should have gone slightly heavier.

Nice to have a case of double Bass thumb! They were a little on the smaller side but still had a blast.

Keep our beaches clean.
