What day!!!Started out early caught 6 bass from 26 to 33" Kept 1 33" 12 lbs.Great action.Then the blues moved in what a blast.Huge blues just as big as the bass I kept.WOW I would hate to loose a finger to those choppers.

Martin "Bennybass" and his son Justin also got in on the action.John "Searchin" Also joined.Great fun guys.

Please don't PM me asking for the spot I was at.Last post I got alot of PM asking.

The exact location is not nearly as relevant as the fact that you went out somewhere there at the right time and did well. Timing is the most important factor.

Especially on the Fire Island beaches where conditions and structure can (and usually do) vary on almost a day to day basis. It's far more important to be observant of these changing conditions and to remember that where you was bailing fish yesterday is where you could be skunked today. I've seen it a thousand times.
