fished jones last night for the start of the ebb, not much action. very little weed in the water for a new moon. worked my towards the jetty and landed one cocktail blue in the pocket with a couple of bumps after. my friend landed one beach umbrella that was floating in the surf. best catch of the night

Was the umbrella a keeper? How do you cook it?

I also fished WE2 inlet side-last of the ebb for four bass to 26" action started about 1am and was over in 20mins. My only bass for Aug. I know Sept. will be better. Small lures fished in the fast rips was the ticket.
