great day today on the east reef, nice porgys seabass on clam, with heavy chumming . at one drop we was only into sebass, when i notice that i put on a a27 diamond jig i tip the hook with squid strips, oh man first time using that method and i am hook, most keepers on the jig, thanks kilsong i red your article ,. lol pace

I never heard of that I always thought it would mess up its natural presentation. I was told diamond jigs should be fished plain or with tubes only ConfusedConfused

Diamond Jigs

I have used them in over 80 feet of h2o with squid strips even some dogfish strips they work -you can also tie a dropper loop and a 3/0 feet oup the line (squid pennant) that will attract as well -they get huing up less (than sinkers) in the rocky areas because of their narrow shape unless of course you drop them in a port or on a line Gary.
