fish on my buddy s boat out at orient saturday morning in search of giant porgys, well it was not to be, for three guys we only manage 20 nice size fish . so iam asking at this time of year where on orient is a good spot to try.

we was fishing areas just past the race east.

water was real calm exitment of the day was when we pull over to watch a guy fighting a very big fish for about 20 min , this fish comes at boatside about two times and then took off running, the third time i saw a huge swirl as one guy try to lip the fish with what look like a 12 inhes liper .

the fish look and just say sorry guys get a big net next time.

wow you should see the look on the guys face who was fighting the fish, the one who was trying to hook it did not look all that unhappy lol.

it was indeed a large striper. on our way back we saw some guys just came of the water they was on a rental skiff from capt marty place, four guys have 80 fishes thats 40 fish over the limit, gess what the park police catch them red handed and was killing them with fines i ges that some pricy tickets, does it worth it??? oh well hope to be back out there this coming weekend, oh the guys who lost the big fish was trolling a pink eel looking tube, i hope this help.

god bless
