Out again today at first light and like last trip bunker were very scarce. I also did not want to spend to much time searching for them because the bass bite has shown to be early and short lived in the area we have been fishing.
I was only able to manage 3 bunker this morning but set out with hopes of finding a few bass anyway. Naturally we had to chunk and on our first drift we had 4 keepers in the boat. We caught 3 more on the next few drifts (all released) and then moved on to bottom fishing.
Hit a few local wrecks but failed to put together any kind of bite. There was a decent swell on out there and my body is still feeling the effects as I type right now. We ended the day with 4 striped bass and 4 seabass.
