Hey guys the weather man was wrong again calling for 1-3 it was more like 5-6 with some big ones mixed in. Well we got beat up real bad on the way out, dropped lines in about a mile south of Old orchard and dragged them all the way to the hook and nothing. Tryed some clam and bunker at the rip nothing. Took a bumpy ride down to the Sandy Hook reef and picked up a dozen porgys and had enoughof the 6-7 foot swells. So decided to head back to the barn. I though it was a bad day until i seen a boat on fire at the tip of the hook on the way home. Spoke to another capt on the way in and he said that everybody got off safe.
