Anyone willing to lend out a pointer???

Been going Thresher sharking for 3 times this season with no luck.

Chumming isnt an issue (chumming hard with oils, bluefish and bunker chum)

Been going about 3 miles off Rockaways and 4 miiles off Jones inlet. With NO bites or anything (cant even find the bunker)

Anyone seen any Threshers locally (no more that 10-12 miles off shore) ?

Threshers have been caught inshore feeding on bunker but it's not likely. You would have a better shot AT LEAST 20 miles offshore.
A decent size thresher could be easily more than 10' long. If your fishing in 40' of water it's just not common to find them there.
