This is a delayed report since I have not been able to log into the site. I took the family down to Jacksonville last week for vacation and we made sure to get some fishing in. Last Thursday we fished the intercostal for redfish with captain Jeff of Beaches Fishing Charters. We stayed deep in the creeks to keep out of the wind. It was chilly and the fishing was a little slow but we managed six small redfish and two slot reds. We also had a specked sea trout and a few small fluke. We had a great time.

Sunday I went on my own aboard The Majesty party boat. It’s a great boat and crew. The bite was slow and the grunts were relentless bubbling away at the bait, but I did nail a big red snapper on the last drop. It was a great trip. We can’t wait to go back again. Tight lines!

Somehow I kept it out of the wreck

Not as big as the one that broke me off

Little man did a great job

On his way to being a great angler
