I haven't seen many reports lately so I thought I would put one out there. I've been fishing a variety of lakes and rivers from Babylon to patchouge and found drastically different results each trip. Just a couple browns and golden barbs in the Babylon areas for me, still not much luck on the yellow and white perch front. Great fishing at the hatchery as always, cold conditions and constant fly changing proved key most days for me but I would manage some rainbows, couldn't find any brookies willing to bite. I've heard of some pickerel around but couldn't find any yet myself, although I havent tryed hard yet. And found some fish out in patchouge but saw more than I caught for sure. Seems like these constant cold fronts are keeping the fish lethargic.

Anyways I hope everyone had a good winter and will start fishing soon, good luck everyone

And see you at the Ward Melville Show if you're going, I'll have a booth there

Way to break the winter blues. Been doing great up in N West ice fishing. Tried to post a report or post in discussion boards but i guess the site is still having some issues.

Good to hear you're getting then, I've never gone ice fishing but have always wanted to try. Hopefully one day. Yeah I'm having some issues too, super slow site recently. Normal bugs I suppose
