Okuma Oceanic Rods

Okuma Oceanic Rods

Quality rods are important, especially when you're locked into big tuna. Okuma's line of Oceanic Rods are a perfect solution to your saltwater needs and are available in a large variety of

sizes. There are five casting models, two spinning, three tuna/trolling (with roller tip and roller stripper guide), one trolling rod with all AFTCO rollers and one kite rod. Since my reel of choice is the above-mentioned CA-50W-II, I'd match that beauty up with the OC-TR-601MH Trolling Rod with all AFTCO rollers. The 1 piece, 6-foot MH action stick has a line rating capacity of 40 to 100 pounds. This Okuma Oceanic Rod model has a 10 ½-inch foregrip length, 11 3/5-inch reargrip length, has 5 guides plus tip, aluminum reel seat, graphite butt, aluminum gimbal and rock solid all AFTCO HD series rollers.

The Okuma Oceanic Rod line boasts durable E-glass blank construction Pac Bay guides with SiC inserts, black AFTCO HD rollers on "T" and "TR" models, stainless steel foul-proof guides on "FP" models, standard or heavy duty Fuji reel seats, "T, TR, KT" rods use Pac Bay aluminum reel seats. These rods are available with either graphite or aluminum gimbals, durable EVA foam fore grips on all models, rugged graphite butt section on all models, unique "KT" Kite Rod and a limited lifetime warranty.
